Professional Bio
Teresa is a Professor of Pediatrics whose research focuses on sleep heath, and psychosocial and family factors that affect sleep in pediatric populations with and without chronic health conditions. She worked as a nurse practitioner in a pediatric sleep center where she managed behavioral and medical sleep problems. Teresa and her team have developed interventions that integrate behavior change and shared-management strategies with technology for children, adolescents, and their caregivers to promote sleep and improve health outcomes. Her recent work focuses on underrepresented children and caregivers who design and develop sleep promotion interventions.
