Beth Ebel, MD, MSc, MPH

Beth E. Ebel, MD, MSc, MPH, is an attending physician at the University of Washington and Seattle Children's Hospital. She is professor of pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine, and adjunct professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Health Services, UW School of Public Health. Dr. Ebel earned her MD at the combined Harvard Medical School/M.I.T. program, has a Masters in Development Economics from Oxford University, and her MPH at the UW School of Public Health. Her clinical interests include medical consultation for pediatric trauma patients, injury prevention and road safety, and policy measures to promote the health and wellbeing of children and families. Dr. Ebel's research interests include injury prevention, traffic safety, community interventions and health behaviors with emphasis on high-risk populations, and global injury prevention.
