Application Open: Pediatric Pandemic Network (PNN) Quality Improvement Writing Group

Seattle Children’s is a participant in PPN. Therefore, all Seattle Children’s faculty and staff can access this excellent opportunity. If you have completed a QI project and just need to write it up, you are encouraged to apply. The application is open for the PPN’s second QI Writing Course!

The  PPN QI Writing Group provides a structured and mentored manuscript preparation experience for those looking to share their QI outcomes. Applicants should have a current or past project with results ready to publish. These types of results may include a project that has reached its goal, a project with a change in a process or outcome measure, a project with an important lesson learned, or a project with a unique intervention.

The QIWG transforms projects into journal-ready manuscripts in 10 virtual sessions over 20 weeks. Sharing local work provides the opportunity to improve patient care at a larger scale by spreading successes and challenges, allowing for rapid cycle improvement and potentially avoiding duplication of failures.

The Spring 2025 Cohort is open to applicants from a PPN Hub or affiliate site and will start 1/16/2025. Applications are open until 11/15/2024 and can be found here. Please reach out to Dr. Lori Rutman with any questions.
