Seattle Children’s Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program Announcement

Practice Mindfulness and gain Part-4 MOC Credits in 2024 by participating in the Mitigating Burnout Mindfully MOC Project, led by Dr. Tiffany Spanier, a pediatrician and certified mindfulness teacher! The project aims to reduce burnout by increasing trait mindfulness in physicians. Participants will attend workshops to learn about and recognize various stress responses and develop skills of mindful communication to enhance patient care, collegial relationships, and personal relationships. 

Participants are required to enroll in the project, attend all sessions, and complete project tasks to receive credit. Sessions are scheduled on Wednesdays from 4:30pm to 6:30 pm via Zoom:

  • Kick-off: May 22
  • Progress #1: June 26
  • Progress #2: July 24
  • Attestation: August 28

A limited number of spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact MOC if you are interested to participate.
