Jon Mosser, MD, MPH

Jonathan Mosser, MD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor at IHME. As part of the Geospatial Analysis research team, he focuses on the use of model-based geostatistics to generate high-resolution spatiotemporal estimates of vaccine coverage.
Dr. Mosser studied biochemistry as an undergraduate at Middlebury College. He then completed a MPH with a focus in epidemiology and biostatistics from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a MD from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed a clinical residency in Pediatrics at the University of Washington/Seattle Children’s Hospital (UW/SCH), and is currently a fellow in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at UW/SCH. Prior to his arrival at IHME in 2016, his research included clinical studies of pediatric HIV regimens and intrahousehold transmission dynamics of Streptococcus pneumoniae.
