Dr. von Saint Andre-von Arnim attends in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Seattle Children’s. Her academic interests focus on improving care and outcomes of critically ill children in resource-limited settings. In collaboration with colleagues at the University of Nairobi she has implemented and helps run a pediatric emergency and critical care fellowship program for African pediatricians in Kenya. Dr. von Saint Andre-von Arnim’s research involves early recognition of critical illness and implementation of respiratory support systems in resource-poor settings.
