Professional Bio

Dr. Meikle is an attending physician at Seattle Children's Hospital and an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine. She completed residency in pediatrics at University of Washington in 2017 and served as a chief resident the following year.  Prior to joining the craniofacial team, Dr. Meikle was a pediatric hospitalist in a variety of settings, including the newborn nursery, community hospital pediatric units, and at Seattle Children’s Hospital.  Outside the hospital and clinic, she enjoys running, skiing, backpacking, gardening, and home renovation in the excellent company of her husband and two children.

Clinical Interests

In her role in the Division of Craniofacial Medicine, Dr. Meikle focuses on clinical care, patient and family outreach, and medical education.  She is excited about partnering with her patients and their families to understand their treatment goals and work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure positive outcomes.  She is also interested in establishing opportunities for patients and families to connect outside of the medical setting, to build community and provide support for each other in navigating the challenges of having a craniofacial difference.   She also enjoys working with and teaching medical students and residents in the craniofacial clinic and in the hospital.
