CUMG/UWP Retirement & Benefits Committee (RBC) Opportunity
CUMG believes that our faculty deserve a comprehensive benefits package, offering the very best when it comes to retirement planning and other benefits. If you would like to be part of the opportunity to shape and/or enhance CUMG's retirement and other benefits programs, consider joining the CUMG/UWP Retirement and Benefits Committee (RBC). The RBC is a joint committee of both the University of Washington adult (UWP) and pediatric (CUMG) practice plans that directly impacts over 3,000 faculty members. It advises the CUMG Board of Directors on competitive benefits package offerings as well as education and utilization to ensure we can continue to attract and retain exceptional physicians.
CUMG/UWP Retirement and Benefits Committee (RBC) is responsible for overseeing the faculty practice plan benefit programs. Goals include offering high quality, cost effective benefit plans, exercising oversight of those plans, and increasing member understanding of the benefits provided. Current benefits offered through the practice plans include pension, 403b, Life/AD&D, long term disability, and identity theft protection and restoration.
The Committee is comprised of 17 members including 12 voting members, currently chaired by Dr. Howard Jeffries. Meetings are held via Zoom for 90 minutes, six times per year.
