We are reaching out to encourage faculty to join us as division champions for the UW Bias Reduction in Medicine (BRIM) Pediatrics+ Initiative. The UW BRIM-Peds+ Initiative addresses racial bias by raising awareness and enhancing skills through evidence-informed strategies.
We invite faculty to participate in advanced training in the facilitation of anti-racism conversations and actions and serve as trainers and ambassadors of this initiative in the UW Department of Pediatrics. Detailed information is attached, and a general information session will be held at the end of February. A financial honorarium will be provided to recognize your contributions.
