Dr. Hartmann attends in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Seattle Children’s Hospital and in the Pediatric Trauma Intensive Care Unit at Harborview Medical Unit. She is interested in knowledge translation of national guidelines into bedside care and clinical standard work. She has been working on the translation of American Heart Association guidelines into effective resuscitation and post-resuscitation care in the PICU. Silvia has ongoing standard work projects in the area of mechanical ventilator weaning and the treatment of patients with sepsis admitted through the emergency department
