Administration/Education Roles: Locally, Dr. Sawyer is the Medical Director of the Simulation Program at Seattle Children's Hospital, Associate Vice Chair for Regional Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, and the Director of Outreach Education for the UW Neonatal Education and Simulation‐based Training (NEST) Program. Nationally and internationally, Dr. Sawyer is the President of the International Pediatric Simulation Society, a member of International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) Education Implementation and Teams Task Force, and a member of the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Steering Committee.
