Dr. Albert is the Clinical Director of Pediatric Critical Care Unit. She attends in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Seattle Children’s Hospital and in the Pediatric Trauma Intensive Care Unit at Harborview Medical Center. Dr. Albert is also the Director of Patient Safety for the Pediatric Intensive Critical Unit. Her clinical interests lie in the areas of patient safety, particularly the eradication of catheter acquired bloodstream infections, and quality improvement in the pediatric intensive care unit. She is also interested in hospital systems management, as well as the interface between the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and other subspecialty microsystem. Dr. Albert serves on a number of hospital-wide committees and on several local boards.
