Dr. King is Medical Director of the PICU Trauma Intensive Care Unit at Harborview Medical Center. She attends in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Seattle Children’s Hospital and in the Pediatric Trauma Intensive Care Unit at Harborview Medical Unit. Her work is focused on improving the intersection between pediatric critical care and the community with a special interest in improving pediatric trauma systems access, with a specific focus on pediatric disaster preparedness. She serves as a vital liaison to the King County Healthcare Coalition and is actively engaged in improving regional access to pediatric disaster resources.
