Tracy Yang is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Hospital Medicine at the University Washington School of Medicine and Seattle Children’s Hospital. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia and her medical degree at Johns Hopkins University. She then completed residency training at the New York-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital at Columbia University. Tracy also completed an MPhil in medical anthropology at Oxford University and an MPH in health policy from the Harvard University T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Dr. Yang’s current research focuses on experiences of discrimination among pediatric patients admitted to the hospital and their families, with particular interest in language access and health equity.
