Hendrika Meischke is a professor in the department of Health Systems and Population Health and the Associate Director of the MPH program. As a communication scientist, her research focuses on the investigation of the processes and outcomes of communication in a variety of settings. Most recently, her work focuses on improving language access in prehospital emergency care and reducing occupational stress among prehospital care providers, including 9-1-1 telecommunicators. She teaches Health Communication in the MPH and the undergraduate public health major.
